Stella Gardiner, owner/founder of Absolute Massage, began her formal study of massage therapy and bodywork in 1995 at the Massage School of Santa Monica, after suffering injury while rehearsing for a ballet premiere. Her road to recovery included massage, and while familiar with the benefits of massage for sore muscles incurred while training and dancing, Stella realized that bodywork is a powerful tool for rehabilitation of specific injury as well. She continued her studies at the Institute for Psycho-Structural Balancing in Culver City, and is a member of ABMP and is certified by CAMTC.
